One weekend every year, students from West Virginia University’s Reed College of Media take part in a 24-hour “caffeinated creativity” event coined CreateAthon. During the 24 hours, split up into teams to work with local organizations and help them achieve a feasible goal. For 2019’s event, I worked with a team of students to help the Rosenbaum Family House advertise and create tangible items for an upcoming event, promote the 20th anniversary of the house and brainstorm ways to inform the medical community of everything the house offers for its guests. I worked with one other student to create a series of Facebook videos to promote the 20th anniversary of the house and encourage donors to get involved.
